Hi, I’m Maryna — a self-taught artist and former developer.
I first picked up a paintbrush about five years ago, during a time when I was completely burned out. I had been working in tech for years, and while I loved parts of it, I felt like something inside me was fading. Painting started as a quiet hobby — a form of self-care. I didn’t know it would turn into a calling.
For the past two years, I’ve been fully committed to creating art.
I work with acrylics, oil paint, texture paste, natural moss, and gold leaf — layering materials to build emotion, movement, and depth.
🌿 Why I Paint – My Mission
I paint to reconnect — with myself, with nature, and with the part of us that doesn’t need to explain, just feel.
My mission is to create art that brings calm, reflection, and beauty into everyday spaces. I believe art can be a quiet companion — a reminder to breathe, to be still, or to feel something real.
Whether it’s a textured abstract, a soft landscape, or a wild animal — my goal is to make pieces that carry soul.
🎨 My Process
Each painting begins with a feeling — not a plan. I build layers slowly using acrylic or oil, then add texture with paste or natural elements like moss.
Sometimes I finish a piece in a day; other times, it sits with me for weeks until it feels right.
I let the materials speak — cracks, shine, rough edges — they all become part of the story.
