Personal Story:
I painted this piece after a long hike that left me breathless—not just from the climb, but from the view. That quiet moment when the sun hit the mountain tops before anything else stirred felt sacred. I wanted to capture that feeling of stillness and awe, of watching something so much bigger than myself come alive. This painting is about finding peace in the high places—even if you’re still climbing.
